Playa Ventanas (Spanish for "window beach") beach is only a short
10 minute drive from Las Villas de San Buenas. It is the best
family beach in the Osa region of Costa Rica, and one of the nicest
beaches in Costa Rica. It is perfect for families to go snorkel,
sea kayak, or sun tan. The name comes from the two, large, window
rock formations that are formed on the rock/mountain at the beach.
Two types of monkeys can be seen in the jungle next to the beach as
well as large rock formations and incredible sunsets.
